Chalet de TARA

We are from Seattle, Wa., U.S.A. My family had the best stay ever on the outskirts of Geneva @ Chalet de TARA. Pascal and Cristina, the hosts, are very warm and welcoming. They offered many excellent ideas of what to see & visit. TARA Chalet is immaculate and has all facilities needed for a great stay, including a beautiful garden and swimming pool. We will return to TARA!

Magnificent location south-west of Geneva above the mountain. Top view from the beautiful terrace. The apartment is well equipped and very nicely furnished. Nothing is missing. The highlight is the pool. It can be used at any time and is a great way to end the day. Very friendly hosts, helpful and very obliging. Great starting point to visit all the hotspots around Lake Geneva, Chamonix and Annecy. Easy to reach by car. Good car park on the property. We can recommend it without reservation!

We loved staying here. What a beautiful place and such gracious hosts! we booked Pascal and Cristina’s place at the last minute and they were so accommodating! They even came over and showed us how to use the DVD player! Our grandchildren visited us during the day and we had a great time. I highly recommend this lovely place in a beautiful setting. I’m attaching a picture of the view through the kitchen window.

Chalet de Tara was exactly as described and the hosts were wonderful!! Cristina and Pascal were professional, accommodating, polite, and fantastic; they definitely went above and beyond assisting our stay. :) The accommodations are modern, beautiful and comfortable and everything you need is on hand.The pool was a welcome bonus given the unexpected higher temperatures while we were there; thank you!! The hosts exceeded any expectations I had and I hope to keep in touch with them and return again in the future!!

4 sterren - Hoogstaand appartement in chaletstijl, verwarmd zwembad, Genève Zeer vriendelijke host (Pascale) heeft ons goed ontvangen, hij heeft ons vele tips gegeven van leuke uitstapjes en restaurantjes. Het appartement/chalet is zeer knus ingericht met oog voor details en voldoet aan alle comfort. De keuken is zeer compleet (toaster/waterkoker/koffiezetter), voldoende bestek en glazen, zelfs een strijkijzer en stofzuiger is aanwezig. Er is een vaatwasser en wasmachine, altijd handig ! Er is veel lectuur aanwezig alsook vele DVD's enz. De airco werkt perfect. Wij hebben erg genoten van het terras met het mooie uitzicht (ideaal om 's avonds buiten te zitten en te lezen en te kijken naar de paragliders of de vliegtuigen die landen in Geneve). Het zwembad was TOP, en er was veel schaduw van bomen aanwezig, heerlijk om hier te vertoeven. Op 5 minuten rijden met de auto heb je een supermarkt (U) waar je alles kan krijgen. Er zijn ook 2 lokale bakkertjes die heerlijk brood en gebakjes hebben. De ligging is top qua privacy en uitzicht, het enige jammere is dat er in de directe omgeving weinig activiteiten zijn om eens een gezellig terrasje te doen of koffietje te drinken op loopafstand. Dan moet je echt met de auto naar een grotere stad rijden. Zeker een aanrader voor wie houdt van rust en relaxen, wil je meer drukte, dan neem je de auto en ben je zo op talrijke leuke plaatsjes (Geneve, Annecy, Yvoire, ... ! De eigenaars hebben een lief hondje Milla, die ons graag kwam bezoeken, dat vond onze hond ook wel fijn :) Aankomstdatum - 9 juli 2022

I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful place, and with excellent hosts. You can do your home based to explore the region, or simply enjoy a bottle of wine at the house pool. Great conversations with hosts, and delicious meal one night. Most definitely I recommend, and would come back.

Séjour excellent au chalet de Tara! Parfait pour une petite famille de quatre personnes. La piscine couverte est vraiment un plus, surtout lorsque la pluie est aussi au rendez-vous hihi, en effet nous avons pu nous y détendre les jours pluvieux. Pascal, sa compagne et leur petite chienne Mia sont très attachants, discrets comme il faut et à la fois très disponibles si besoin. Chalet chaleureux, très bien pensé, perché dans un paysage montagneux très agréable, bref nous reviendront probablement si nous sommes de passage dans la région!
